April 4, 2026

The MriyaTY team participated in setting a new Ukrainian national record for the largest simultaneous pysanka painting in Lviv, combining cultural heritage with a charitable cause.

Today in Lviv, the "MriyaTY" team was proud to be part of an event that will go down in Ukraine’s history. Alongside hundreds of participants, we joined in setting an official Ukrainian Record for the largest simultaneous painting of traditional easter eggs (pysanky). It was an inspiring display of national unity and living tradition.

For our project, moments like these are invaluable — we strongly believe that creativity and community empower both children and adults to dream big.

Key Encounters & Cultural Heritage:

  • Visited the famous Roksolyana Shymchuk Ethno-Gallery and met its founder to explore the rich history of traditional Ukrainian attire.
  • Shared a warm meeting with prominent figure Oksana Bilozir, discussing shared values and cultural initiatives.
  • Connected with singer Natalka Karpa, whose presence added a wonderful touch of inspiration to the day.

Charity Purpose: Beyond setting a record, the event carried a vital charitable mission: uniting the community to support young Bohdan in his battle against Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who joined us today. Together, we preserve our heritage, help those in need, and bring dreams to life!
